Planes, Trains, Buses and... Loos?! Host Unusual Propels Its Portfolio

Boosted by demand for the more out-of-the-ordinary holiday lets, Alex Wilson from Host Unusual explains what the company's followers are searching for: "Our site has been live now for six months and as our traffic statistics improve, so we have been able to analyse and identify the types of experiential accommodation that people are looking for. We list our properties in easy-to-follow categories, and without doubt one of the most popular of these has been our Treehouses category, so we have just added a further three exciting properties here, and aim to add another ten in the next three months.

Interestingly, we have also received messages from people asking us if we have any planes, helicopters or other automotive conversions. When the public speak we have to react! So now we have a Planes & Helicopters category, a converted railway carriage coming soon and some other exciting newcomers which will grace a brand new Buses & Coaches category in the next month, including a new partner called Trafalgar Square, a double decker London bus converted into a luxury bolt hole with roll-top bathtub and outdoor hot tub!"

With the Wildcard and Unique Conversions categories also proving amongst the more popular, Host Unusual are constantly on the lookout for the most weird and wonderful places to add. The most exciting examples of recent confirmed signups?

"We are lucky to be working with one of the winners of 'Amazing Spaces Shed of the Year'. Tracy Lewis' The Owl House is a marvel of wood-carved architecture looking out to sea, whilst The Old Lock-up was built in 1842 and offers our users the chance to stay in an ex-Magistrate's House and former Police Station with four cells - once home to some infamous criminals! Also very recently featured on last week's 'Amazing Spaces', we are delighted to be adding the incredibly transformed public toilet called Harbour Lights in the beautiful Cornish coastal village of Charlestown."

New users can register themselves on the mailing list to be sure they keep up-to-date with these new additions here: http://hostunusual.co.uk
