NEW INTERNATIONAL YOUTH TRAVEL TO NSW SNAPSHOT

New figures released by Destination NSW show NSW achieved its highest number of youth visitors and expenditure on record in the year ending June 2016.

NSW continues to be the destination of choice for young travelers, accounting for over 56% of international youth visitors in Australia.

NSW received over 1.2 million international youth visitors (up 8% on YE June 2015) who stayed nearly 50 million nights (up 8%) and spent more than $5.26 billion in the State (up 18%). China was the largest source market of youth visitors to NSW followed by the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
