JUNE LONG WEEKEND EVENTS IN NSW

This June long weekend is set to be a busy time for local communities hosting regional flagship and major events across NSW. With more than a sprinkling of snow settling on the NSW Snowy Mountains, the Peak Festival in Perisher Valley is just one of the events running over the long weekend that is supported by Destination NSW.

Other events include the Australian Little League Baseball Championships in Lismore, fielding the top boys and girls U13 teams from across Australia; the Coonamble Rodeo and Campdraft, one of the best and biggest rodeos on the calendar; Hunter Valley Wine & Food Festival, a seasonal celebration of gourmet delights; and the Shoalhaven Coast Winter Wine Festival.

Destination NSW CEO Sandra Chipchase said there is so much to see and do across Regional NSW this June long weekend.

“I am sure all visitors will be impressed by the variety of events and festivals this June long weekend, offering the perfect excuse for a short break in Regional NSW.” Ms Chipchase said.
