Whitehaven Beach Voted Best Beach in the South Pacific

World-famous Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays has again taken out the top gong for the South Pacific's Best Beach in the 2015 TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards.

This marks the third consecutive year that Whitehaven Beach was voted Australia's Best Beach by TripAdvisor reviewers.

Picture-perfect Whitehaven Beach also ranked in the Top 10 of the world's best beaches.

Whitsundays Marketing and Development Limited (WMDL) Executive Director Jeff Aquilina was very excited that the region's iconic beach had yet again proven to be a favourite with travellers.

“On behalf of the Whitsundays tourism industry, we are absolutely thrilled that Whitehaven Beach has taken out the top gong as the best beach in the South Pacific,” Mr Aquilina said.
