TONY HAWK TO DEFEND TITLE AT BOWL-A-RAMA BONDI

Skateboarding’s most successful and influential skater, Tony Hawk, will visit Sydney next month to defend his title against the rest of the world’s best skaters including Steve Caballero and current world Champion Pedro Barras at Vans BOWL-A-RAMA Bondi.

Preparing to visit Sydney again Tony Hawk said, "I’m stoked to return to Vans BOWL-A-RAMA Bondi and skate with all of the legends again. Bondi is by far one of the best contest venues we’ve ever had, and the skating is always next level.”

Vans BOWL-A-RAMA Bondi is a week-long festival of skateboarding which began at Bondi Beach in 2005, featuring art, music and film events leading up to the world’s biggest professional concrete skate series.

The 2015 Vans BOWL-A-RAMA Bondi begins on Tuesday 17 February with the competition to take place on Saturday 21 February.
