A SCULPTURE BY THE SEA IN WALCHA

A sculpture from this year’s world renowned Sculpture by the Sea exhibition in Sydney will be permanently relocated to the Open Air Gallery at Walcha in regional NSW.

The sculpture will add to the rich arts and cultural sector of the Walcha region and ensure regional NSW has the opportunity to experience the popular exhibition which attracts around half a million people to the Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk.

The annual Sculpture by the Sea exhibition returned to Sydney this week, with the spectacular coastal walk transformed into a 2km long temporary sculpture park featuring over 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world.

Sculpture by the Sea in Sydney runs from 23 October to 9 November and Walcha Council will select a sculpture at the closing of the exhibition.
