The Hokkaido Powder Belt Campervan Plan: a flexible way to chase the region's finest powder snow

collaboration with Campervan Inc., Hoshino Resorts Tomamu and OMO7 Asahikawa have introduced the "Hokkaido Powder Belt Campervan Plan" which includes a 5-day lift pass across three ski resorts in the Hokkaido Powder Belt: Tomamu Ski Resort, Furano Ski Resort, and Kamui Ski Links.

Guests can also enjoy access to facilities at both Hoshino Resorts Tomamu and OMO7 Asahikawa which include free parking, daily buffet breakfast, dry room and waxing services, as well as bathing amenities without any reservation required.

A world-renowned ski area thanks to its inland low temperatures that result in fine powder snow, the Hokkaido Powder Belt continues to attract skiers and snowboarders from across the globe.

Knowing that ski resort conditions can change drastically depending on the snowfall, wind direction, and temperature, this plan was created to align with the flexible travel style of guests who want to choose their runs based on the snow conditions across the Hokkaido Powder Belt.

Campervans are therefore perfect for those wanting a free-spirited ski holiday experience chasing the finest powder snow in the region, and without having to worry about accommodation. The campervans provided in this plan have dedicated sleeping spaces and face-to-face tables for a comfortable stay.

Equipped with FF heaters and ventilation fans that work even when the engine is off, guests can sleep through Hokkaido's cold nights while avoiding stuffy air. These campervans are easy to handle, even for first-timers, and can be driven with a standard driver's license.

After a long day on the slopes, guests can enjoy a swim at Mina-Mina Beach, Japan's largest indoor wave pool at Hoshino Resorts Tomamu or relax at OMO7 Asahikawa's Sauna PLATEAU, a hot spring facility where you can enjoy a sauna bath. They can even explore the unique urban culture of Asahikawa and savour a bowl of the city's signature soy sauce–based noodle soup.

Available since the start of August, this unique plan will continue until 21 March 2025 and is designed for skiers and snowboarders, combining campervan rental with a lift ticket valid at Tomamu Ski Resort, Furano Ski Resort, and Kamui Ski Links, along with access to Hoshino Resorts facilities. The ticket is valid for 10 days from the date of issue and can be used for 5 days at your chosen ski resorts.
