An exhibition celebrating 50 years of Hello Kitty

This year marks half a century since the globally adored Japanese character Hello Kitty, created by Sanrio, first burst onto the scene. An exhibition to celebrate the occasion will be held at the Tokyo National Museum from November 1 to February 24 next year, featuring the largest collection of goods ever displayed at such an exhibition.

A new exhibition themed on 50 years of "Kitty and Me" that unravels the unique qualities that only Hello Kitty possesses .

Half a century has passed since Hello Kitty's debut, and she is now known and loved all over the world.
It's a rare presence in the world.
