On 23 April 2024, the Six Senses Kyoto opened its first hotel in Japan with unique features that embody the fusion and harmony between well-being, sustainability and Kyoto’s local culture, including the Earth Lab where you can discover their sustainable initiatives and the Alchemy Bar that offers cosmetics-making workshops using natural materials.
On 29 March 2024, the DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station opened with a full range of facilities, including an executive lounge, fitness center and meeting rooms.
Also, the Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto is scheduled to open in Q3 2024.
It will be the first hotel in Kyoto to boast a noh stage on the premises, and the first international brand hotel in the Gion/Higashiyama area to offer rooms with natural hot spring baths.
