Ocean-oriented economy in Guangxi: Intelligent manufacturing

In recent years, Guangxi has sought ocean-oriented development opportunities and promoted open development, so as to make greater achievements in promoting high-quality development in border areas with large ethnic minority populations.

Guangxi has actively pursued opportunities through cross-regional industrial collaborations to target the ASEAN market. The region has introduced more than 160 leading enterprises since 2021. It has involved itself in cross-regional industrial division and coordination with the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Such efforts have effectively strengthened and supplemented regional industrial chains in sectors such as new energy vehicles, power batteries, and fine chemicals, and accelerated the development of new quality productive forces.
