World Travel and Tourism Council’s Safe Travels stamp

Tunisia is one of the destinations to secure the World Travel & Tourism Council’s (WTTC) Safe Travels Global Safety Stamp.

The stamp will allow travellers to recognise governments and companies around the world that have adopted globally standardised health and hygiene protocols. Those eligible to apply for the Safe Travels include hotels, restaurants, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, attractions, short term rentals, car rentals, outdoor shopping, transportation and airports, They will be able to display the stamp once the health and hygiene protocols, outlined by WTTC, have been implemented.

The global protocols, to aid the travel and tourism sectors recovery, have been embraced by over 1,200 companies, including some of the world’s major tourism groups, and over 80 destinations. The World Travel & Tourism Council The WTTC represents the global private sector of travel and tourism, with a mission to ensure the sector is seamless, secure, safe, inclusive and sustainable.
