Queensland has entered Stage Two of easing of restrictions and there’s many questions about how businesses need to adhere to social distancing and what plans they need to have in place.
TEQ’s COVID-19 for Businesses webpage features a range of information, including how social distancing works for tourism operations including tours, accommodation and caravan parks; a simple breakdown of what documentation you need in place; and other resources to help you make business decisions.
If a business would like to have more than 20 people in Stage Two, they need to comply to the relevant Industry Plan that covers their business. For the tourism industry, the Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) is leading the preparation of this plan, and it is anticipated this will be approved by the Chief Health Officer and released in the coming days.
Once approved, the Industry Plans will be made available here.
