Craving a Weekend Foodie Escape With a Side of Adventure?

Get ready for adventure
Want to surround yourself in nature, while getting your heart rate up? Challenge yourself with the highest peak in the Brisbane region, Flinders Peak. The three to six-hour return trip is rated as a difficult hike.

Or you can take one of the many hiking trails or biking trails at the White Rock Spring Mountain Conservation Estate which has a vast array of plant and wildlife species.

Book into a guided night hike. The Starlight Walking Trail at Flinders is great for beginners and budding astronomers or the City Lights Walking Trail at White Rock is perfect for those with moderate fitness levels.

There's also a guided sunrise hike up Flinders Peak for those with advanced levels of fitness.

Explore over 100km of hiking and biking trails at Hidden Vale Adventure Park. The park is located at Grandchester next door to Spicers Hidden Vale. There are bikes for hire and a shuttle service to help you get farther into the property.

Float majestically over the Ipswich countryside with a Floating Images Hot Air Balloon flight.

Heli-picnic tours are also available with Pterodactyl Helicopters. Book a secluded picnic on the banks of the Brisbane River or one of their winery and heli-pub tours.

Soak up some heritage
Take a self-guided walk down the Top of Town to see many beautifully preserved heritage buildings that are now home to restaurants and boutique shops.
