The Vacations & Travel title is one of six nominees in the 'Launch/Relaunch of the Year – Small Publisher' category.
The new-look magazine features a redesigned masthead; a clean, premium and contemporary design approach throughout its pages; and the introduction of new editorial sections. The magazine was unveiled in March with its 'Adventure' theme issue under the direction of new editor Katrina Holden and new publisher Adam Davy.

“We worked hard to retain the core elements of what our readers have loved about the magazine for nearly four decades – stunning photography and first-person stories written by professional journalists. However, the magazine's revamp extended beyond pure aesthetics to also include a new editorial approach that reflects the evolving travel trends and considerations of 'the thinking traveller' at the premium end of the travel space,” said Holden.
Owned and published by US-based Morris Media Network, publishers of the international in-bound Where Traveler title, Vacations & Travel has wide distribution across key visitor destinations in 4- and 5-star hotel rooms across Australia allowing a massive readership in these locations. Other distribution points include airports, newsagents and a dedicated subscriber base. The magazine's website, vacationstravel.com, was also rebuilt to be more in synergy with the new print design. The weekly EDM has also been redesigned with a modern new look, making its way to more than 26,000 subscribers each week.
