Jorg Gartelmann, Regatta Rose Bay Executive Chef Logan Campbell and wine educator/celebrity chef Lyndey Milan are working together to create a unique experience for the friends of Gartelmann Wines and others who are interested in this Lovedale winery.
Lyndey and Jorg will entertain, discussing the wines and the subtle art of food and wine matching while regaling attendees with wonderful stories from their years in the world of travel, journalism, winemaking and more. Four fabulous courses are being designed specially to match with the wines, some old, some current vintages and a sneak peek at some wines not even released yet.
Lyndey Milan has been instrumental in changing the way Australians think about food and wine. She has spent more than 30 years sharing her passion and knowledge with international audiences, through her eight TV series, nine best-selling cookbooks, and in her influential role as former Food Director of the iconic Australian Women's Weekly.
A recipient of an OAM for services to hospitality, the food and wine industry and the community, Lyndey is an award-winning multi-media presenter, MC, speaker, food and wine teacher, consultant, debater, judge and regional Australian specialist.
Logan Campbell, former executive chef at Jonah's, Whale Beach, is now leading the Regatta kitchen. Campbell is also a 12-year veteran of Paddington institution, Lucio's.
Jorg Gartelmann, an aeronautical engineer and computer software developer, turned vigneron and winemaker in 1996. He has gone on to create wines that have won numerous Wine Show Trophies and Medals and now concentrates on specialised hand-crafted wines using grapes sourced from the Lower and Upper Hunter Valley, Mudgee, Rylstone, and Orange regions of NSW.
