Cuba: Destination of MICE Tourism

Cuba, the largest island of the Antilles, is undoubtedly a privileged destination because of its nature and culture but beyond these values it has positioned itself as an attractive destination for MICE tourism.

The country has several Convention Centers throughout the island such as the Havana Convention Center, the Plaza América Convention Center in the well-known Varadero Beach, the Bolivar Convention Center in the City of Santa Clara, the Santa Cecilia Convention Center in the City of Camaguey or the Heredia Theater in the historic city of Santiago de Cuba.

Cuba also features numerous Fairgrounds, the largest of which, Expocuba, hosts the International Fair of Havana every year. Another fairground is the Morro-Cabaña Historical Park, which this year will be the venue for the FITCUBA 2019 International Tourism Fair, to be held from May 6 to 11 and will be dedicated precisely to MICE Tourism within the framework of the celebration of Havana’s 500th Anniversary.
