One-off US television program, Tapping In: The Happiest People and Places on the Planet, which showcased NSW, has been nominated for a daytime Emmy Award.
The hour-long program, produced by Swain Entertainment and supported by the NSW Government through Destination NSW, aired in the US on top 50 ranking channels, including NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX, between August and October last year.
The program featured segments on Byron Bay, Hunter Valley, the Blue Mountains, and Sydney, including a behind-the-scenes story about the people who stage Vivid Sydney, the world’s largest festival of light, music and ideas.
The award for the program, nominated in the Outstanding Travel Program category, will be announced in Los Angeles on April 26.
