Luxury cruise line Regent announced the date of its two round trip voyages from the world’s cruise capital, Miami next year. Hailed as the most luxurious ship ever, the 750-passenger Seven Seas Explorer will sail on December 2, 2016. The cruise will be offering a 14-night and 10-night roundtrip sailings to the Caribbean.

Following the debut voyage, the opulent vessel will operate a one-way 16-night voyage from Miami to Los Angeles that will include a transit of the Panama Canal.

Seven Seas Explorer initially will sail in the Mediterranean after its christening in July 2016. The ship’s maiden voyage — a 14-night sailing from Monte Carlo to Venice — kicks off on July 20, 2016 and will be followed by nearly a dozen other Mediterranean sailings featuring visits to such destinations as Barcelona, Ibiza, St. Tropez, Venice, Istanbul, Alexandria (Egypt) and Jerusalem.

Seven Seas Explorer, a 56,000 ton vessel flaunts the highest ratio of space to passengers in the history of cruising. The Regent Cruises are promising to set a new standard in luxury cruising. Seven Seas Explorer will be an all-suite vessel and, at $450 million, the most expensive luxury ship ever built.
