Noosa Markets Voted as Australia's Best

Trip Advisor, the world’s largest travel site has revealed the top ten markets in Australia as rated by travellers around the worldand the Noosa Farmers Markets were named number one, closely followed by the Eumundi Markets at number four.

The Noosa Farmers Markets have been running for 11 years every Sunday and showcase the best of local produce and artisan products from around the region with over 100 stalls.

Market Manager Shane Stanley said “We have always known our market was of a high standard but to be recognised as the best by travellers is a wonderful acknowledgment for all the stall-holders.”

“The world famous Eumundi Markets are a must do experience on the Sunshine Coast and have been operating for 34 years with 550 stall-holders. As the premier arts and crafts markets in Australia, this is a lovely accolade to receive” stated Eumundi Market Manager Peter Homan.

General Manager of Tourism Noosa Damien Massingham said “Having two of the top ten markets in Australia as voted by travellers is a great tribute to Noosa. Both markets offer distinct experiences that are enjoyed by not only locals but also the many visitors to the Noosa region. Congratulations to each and every stall-holder that helps to make both markets such a success”.
