One of Hollywood's biggest stars, Angelina Jolie, was recently sighted in regional NSW when she was a passenger aboard a small Qantas Dash 8, which touched down in Tamworth on Wednesday morning.
With her entourage in tow, Angelina then made a 30-minute journey to the small town of Werris Creek to see first-hand locations for the World War II drama Unbroken, which she is in Australia to direct over the next three months.
Locals were surprised and delighted to see the star wandering down Werris Creek's small main street with local newspaper, The Northern Daily Leader, reporting that she paused to view the architecture of a number of Werris Creek locations.
