At the Tallong Apple Day Festival, enjoy street market stalls, including local produce stalls with apples and apple cider and a variety of products for sale including food and refreshments.
Entertainment will include raffles and competitions, an apple bake-off competition, apple pie eating and apple peeling competitions for all ages. Of course there will be novelty games, rides and a jumping castle for the kids to enjoy. You can shoot an apple with the Goulburn Bowmen, see the Axe-men at work and the kids can grind some apples and press them for some juice.
There will be a parade of fancy dressed children with the theme of "Clowning around at Apple Day" and displays of handcrafts and art.
Live bush band music with the Mountain Dew Band, crooner Jim Bennet and performers from the Lieder Youth Theatre.
Its a great family fun day!
