The Australian Celtic Festival has become a hallmark event on the nation's entertainment calendar. The festival attracts clans, national groups, pipe bands, dancers, artists and spectators from across Australia and abroad.
Highlights include a lone piper in the dawn autumn mists signalling non-stop entertainment at the Standing Stones. There is a spectacular street parade, mass pipe bands, Celtic strongman events, Kirking of the Tartan and clan gatherings, workshops and the ever popular poets breakfast. Great live music including internationally renowned vocalist Celine Toner will perform throughout the festival as well as a vast array of bands such as Highlander, Murphy's Pigs,The Borderers, Pumpkin Juice and Down Under the Kilt. Legendary local dancers will be The Glenmore Dancers, Cape Byron Dancers and others.
