At The Fullerton Hotel Sydney, we believe in bringing people together. Throughout 2022, we have been fortunate enough to participate in a number of initiatives and programmes to support our local community.

This year, we have fostered relationships with organisations who are making vital contributions to our community.

As we move forward, our aim is to provide exciting opportunities for our people.

Supporting National Breast Cancer Foundation

At The Fullerton Hotel Sydney, we are committed to supporting National Breast Cancer Foundation in their effort to fund research and ultimately find a cure.

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our gorgeous Pink Afternoon Tea added a splash of colour to the surrounds of The Lounge during October. From every Pink Afternoon Tea sold, A$5 was donated to National Breast Cancer Foundation.

To support this initiative, those who enjoyed our Pink Afternoon Tea had the chance to win an expertly-crafted pendant featuring 24 rare Australian Argyle Pink™ Diamonds generously donated by Calleija Jewellers.

We look forward to delivering more initiatives with National Breast Cancer Foundation in the future.

A Culture of Respect For All

The Fullerton Hotel Sydney

Our people are at the heart of all that we do. We care about the wellbeing of our team and want to support them with the right resources.

This year we partnered with Hotel Etico, Australia's first social enterprise hotel which provides vocational training for young adults with learning disabilities. As part of this programme, we welcomed Lobby Ambassadors to provide assistance and help direct visitors upon arrival.

In addition, we have partnered with the KARI Foundation in support of equal employment opportunities for Aboriginal people, with meaningful roles across the hotel.

Supporting Our Community Through Mindful Food Management

We actively monitor our food production and reduce unnecessary waste output by sourcing fresh ingredients, repurposing food and donating to charities.

The Fullerton Hotel Sydney

To minimise wastage of consumable food, our kitchen donates unused produce and surplus banqueting foods to OzHarvest, the leading not-for-profit food rescue organisation in Australia. Their efforts provide over 7 million meals a year to feed those in need.

We are endeavoring to support more charitable organisations to provide resources to those who need it the most.

With the support of these partnerships, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive culture for our colleagues.
