Australians turn to car rental as flight prices continue to soar

Australians are reconsidering their travel options over the holiday period as flight prices continue soar, with the ACCC reporting consumers are paying almost 30% more for domestic flights than pre-pandemic.

With this in mind, many Aussies are buckling up and hitting the road this festive season with car rental company KINTO reporting 117% increase in pre-booked trips across the nation in December when compared to the previous month.
