Coexist with the pandemic: Explore the future of healthcare travel in the Asia-Pacific

Mohd Daud Mohd Arif,
Two years after the pandemic outbreak upended life in the globe, leaders in different countries are proactively looking for the best way to improve the well-being for their citizens and it’s the right time for us to resume our normal pace and coexist with the pandemic.

In the Asia Pacific, Malaysia plans to reopen its borders to international travellers starting from April 01 as part of the “Transitioning to Endemicity” phase. Most importantly, Malaysia is now a destination that is open and can be visited by all.

To further release the medical pressures from our Asia-Pacific countries, Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council (MHTC) has been tasked to facilitate and promote the initiative and look forward to fostering the future development of healthcare travel across the region. Currently, MHTC is dedicated to providing world-class medical treatments, including Cardiology, Oncology, In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) to other medical offerings.

Mohd Daud Mohd Arif, Chief Executive Officer of MHTC, can share more about how MHTC can provide strong and professional medical support to the countries and the future development of Healthcare travel in Malaysia. He will be able to dive into detail on:

  • Under the phrase of “Transitioning to Endemicity”, what measures does Malaysia take to ensure the safety of healthcare tourists?
  • What makes Malaysia a safe and trusted healthcare destination with its world-class quality, ease of accessibility and affordable price?
  • What is the Impact of COVID-19 on the healthcare travel industry and how MHTC is trying to fill the gap?
  • The future plan of healthcare travel in Malaysia and the Asia-Pacific regions
