Carnival Cruise Line has today announced it will convert its October and November 2022 international itineraries to domestic sailings. With more than half of the nation looking to plan a domestic trip this year[1], the move will provide more opportunities to support local tourism and for guests to see their backyard by sea.
Research from Carnival Cruise Line recently revealed that the most fun activities for Aussies are relaxing and forgetting their worries (68%) and experiencing and discovering new places (66%). However, after the past two years, nearly one in four Australians (23%) feel like they’ve forgotten what they like to do for fun.
In good news, with 45+ activities to experience onboard and beautiful domestic destinations to visit, these new itineraries tick all the boxes to help Aussies to reconnect with fun. Guests can kick back along the beautiful beaches of the Whitsundays, explore the vibrant rainforests of Tropical North Queensland, and discover one of the seven natural wonders of the world in the Great Barrier Reef.
On the itinerary changes, Kara Glamore, Carnival Cruise Line Australia VP said: “We’re looking forward to bringing the fun back to Australia with a series of amazing domestic cruises. We know that our guests are incredibly eager to get back on board and experience our beautiful country, as well as support so many of our much-loved local tourism providers.”
Booked guests and travel agents are being notified directly of the affected itinerary changes. Guests are also encouraged to visit carnival.com.au for more information and contact the Guest Services Department at 13 31 94 in the event their revised itinerary no longer meets their needs.
