TAMWORTH CELEBRATES COUNTRY MUSIC

The 2018 Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth is now underway, with many of Australia’s most celebrated country music superstars performing over the next 10 days as part of the largest music festival in the country, featuring more than 700 performers and 2,800 shows, across 120 venues.

The Opening Night Concert features Judah Kelly, Travis Collins, Aleyce Simmonds, the 2018 Academy of Country Music Graduates.

The centrepiece of the festival is the Golden Guitar Awards on 27 January, featuring a concert of the cream of Australian country music stars.

Other highlights include 600 buskers along Peel Street, the Star Maker talent quest for Australia’s next big country music artist, and the famous Cavalcade street parade.

The Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth is supported by the NSW Government via its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
