A red maple tourist area has just been opened to the public in the resort city of Da Lat.
The five-hectare site has more than 2,000 red maple trees, 20,000 Juniperus chinensis trees, 500 cherry blossom tress and many other rare plants.
It is expected to become a place for students to study and learn about the various species of cone-bearing trees.
The area was recognised as the place with the largest number of red maple trees in the country at the 33rd Meeting of Viet Nam Record Holders organised in HCM City by the VietBook record.
