“We are fully aware that especially for large conference centres, providing an insight into the facilities on offer at the venue can often be difficult. And with 24 halls, 180 meeting rooms and a total of 22,000 square metres of foyers, circulation routes and exhibition space, this can be a real challenge. Our virtual tour paints a better picture than any plan,” explained Austria Center Vienna Managing Director Susanne Baumann-Söllner. “This new tool enables event and conference organisers from all over the world to experience the venue virtually and gain a good overview.”

Interactive 3D model – exploring the venue intuitively

A virtual approach over Vienna’s Donaucity area, an interactive 3D model and panoramic images of the various rooms help to create an ideal impression of the Austria Center Vienna. The virtual tour begins with an animated flight to the entrance. This is followed by an interactive 3D model in which the venue’s five levels can be opened up. The menu provides additional details such as room capacities, as well as the locations of the 100 full HD screens and the lifts. Integrated 360° panoramic views enable users to look around the different rooms and get a feel for various settings.
