ROMANTIC ESCAPES IN PORT MACQUARIE

Port Macquarie has become the latest hotspot for romantic getaways in Regional NSW with a range of hip new places to eat, drink, stay and play.

There are now two hatted restaurants, Fusion 7 and the Stunned Mullet, plus a revamped Sails Resort Port Macquarie by Rydges and a major sustainable tourism award for the 4.5 star Observatory.

What’s new in Port Macquarie
  • Bar Florian: a new retro Italian-themed wine bar brings a touch of European class to Port Macquarie
  • The Latin Loafer: a new wine bar overlooking the Hastings River is a blend of Latin American and Spanish food, wine and cocktails
  • Drury Lane Eatery: a wholesome and creative menu features local Near River Produce, Bellingen smokehouse salmon and house-baked bread
  • Horse riding on North Shore Beach with Port Macquarie Horse Riding Centre
  • Paint The Town Port: features artists hosting step-by-step painting classes in a fun and relaxed atmosphere at local restaurants, cafes, bars and breweries
  • Sails Resort by Rydges: an extensive refurbishment has stunning guest rooms and suites overlooking a new pool area with private cabanas and cabana bar.
