The KTA X-Champs 2016 - a professional competition will be of 3 rounds. The ‘’kick-off’’ event or the first round is scheduled to take place at Ninh Chu Bay (Khanh Hoi Village, Tri Hai Commune, Ninh Hai District, Ninh Thuan Province, Viet Nam) from 24 – 28 February 2016; the second round is intended to organize in Pranburi (Thailand) from 15 – 20 March 2016 and Hainan Island (China) will be the location for the final round of the competition from 6 – 10 April 2016.
The competition is expected to attract the participation of approximately 100 riders coming from 40 countries and territories worldwide. The technical officials from IKA, ISAF will operate the competition.
To prepare for the competition, a local board of KTA X-Champs Viet Nam 2016 was established to implement activities in the plan.
The host of KTA X- Champs 2016 will be a good chance to strengthen international exchange and enhance development of marine sport in Ninh Thuan Province as well as in Viet Nam. In addition, the event will contribute to promoting tourism of Ninh Thuan and attract more international tourists to the area.
