Elysian Park

Descanso Gardens

The Arboretum
In Arcadia, The Arboretum’s Acorns & Oaks program is a nature-based learning experience for babies through age five. Siblings are welcome, and the setting—full of peacocks and botanical beauty—is just as engaging for adults. Special programs include Family Adventure Night Hikes and educational birthday parties.
South Coast Botanic Garden
From May through August, the SOAR exhibit fills this garden with hundreds of tropical butterflies. Families can also participate in the Butterfly Feeding Experience, a chance to offer nectar to fluttering guests for a small additional fee.
The Huntington
