Bristol a city on the River Avon has a prosperous maritime history with its former city-centre port, now called The Harbourside, a cultural hub. 

The 19th-century harbour warehouses have dining in rejuvenated shipping containers, shops and cultural attractions including The Arnolfini contemporary art gallery. 

The city also enjoys large areas of parkland and was European Green Capital in 2015. Visitors to Bristol are attracted to the city’s year-round festivals, cycle tracks, street art and a lively music scene.

Bath, a city known for, and named after, its Roman-built baths, has been wellbeing destination since Roman times. 

A UNESCO World Heritage site, the waters are still a big draw, both at the ancient Roman Baths and the modern Thermae Bath Spa, the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain. 

Bath offers a wide range of places to eat and drink, along with a range of independent shops along with museums and galleries and a year-round annual calendar of festivals, theatre, music and sports. 

Bath's honey-coloured Georgian architecture includes the iconic Royal Crescent, Great Pulteney Street and the Circus.

An elegant city full of traditional heritage, contemporary culture, green spaces and a few surprises.
