SYDNEY NUMBER ONE FOR WINTER ESCAPES

New Booking.com search data has revealed Sydney is Australia's top domestic destination this winter, up two places from last year and taking over from Melbourne.
Byron Bay, a perennial favourite for a warm winter escape, rounded out the top 10 while Jindabyne and Thredbo also scored spots on the top 20 list, coinciding with NSW receiving its first sprinkle of snow last weekend.
