Hundreds of key tourism trade partners will descend on the Gold Coast for the 2023 Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE). Announced this week by Tourism Australia, in partnership with TEQ and Destination Gold Coast, the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre will host the 43rd edition of the event from 30 April – 5 May 2023.
Hosting the industry’s pinnacle trade event will provide a huge opportunity for tourism operators right around the state, bringing international travel buyers to the coast for the event as well as a statewide pre- and post-familiarisation program to show them our incredible experiences first-hand.
The Gold Coast last hosted ATE in 2016, attracting one of the highest delegation scores in the event’s history. At ATE 2022, Queensland once again had the largest delegation of any state, demonstrating the strength of our tourism offering. In total more than 1,100 buyers and sellers attended the 2022 event held in Sydney.
