Sabah Tourism Board

The Sabah Tourism Board, or generally known as Sabah Tourism, is an agency of the Sabah State Government operating under the purview of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment Sabah. Sabah Tourism's primary responsibility is the marketing and promotion of tourism for the State. Sabah Tourism, continues to promote and market Sabah as a world-class premier eco tourism destination.

Sabah Malaysian Borneo, known for its virgin rainforest, idyllic tropical islands with sandy beaches, Conservation and Wildlife Sanctuaries, selection of international hotels and resorts brands, championship golf courses and diverse cultures are available to complement our unique attractions.

The Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) is connected directly to Kuala Lumpur and major international cities, making it one of the major hub for Malaysia aviation industry as being the busiest airport in Malaysia after Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The smooth air accessibility makes no wonder why this city is a favourable destination for the MICE market – Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions.

Sabah is no stranger to being the host of international and local business groups. Companies choose Sabah as their MICE venue due to its great blend of the modern state-of-the-art facilities, yet retaining many quaint aspects of the destination. The extensive option of accommodation from 4 to 5 stars international-class resorts and city hotels offers an ideal place to stay. With the recent completion of the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Sabah is more than ready to open more doors for events opportunities.

Our MICE venues are supported by a partnership with the dedicated team in the event management industry. Destination Management Companies (DMC) and suppliers work closely with each other to execute a creative production with high professionalism uniquely for your event.

Tawau & Semporna

The green face of Tawau includes some astonishing forests, rich cocoa and oil palm plantations and one of the finest golf courses in Sabah.
