STARGAZING AT ROUSE HILL HOUSE AND FARM

Explore the beautiful night sky during National Science Week.
Help us celebrate Sydney Science Festival, National Science Week and 2015 as International Year of Light, by the light of a starlit sky.

Astronomers and Indigenous sky guides from our partner Sydney Observatory will take you on a tour of the heavens using a range of professional telescopes.

Winter is the best time for astronomy and a great opportunity to view the rings of Saturn. Rug up and bring a smart phone for a telescopic snap of the nearly full moon. This fun and educational evening of stargazing and story-telling also includes a candle lit tour of the historic Rouse Hill school room for a lesson in astronomy then and now!

Hot soup and rolls and delicious home-made scones will be available for purchase, and enjoy a cup of tea and coffee on us. Free parking will also be available.

Children under 5 years are free, but please register them when you book.
