Dan and Steph: Fraser Coast Ambassadors

Dan and Steph Mulheron, winners of Channel 7’s 2013 season of ‘My Kitchen Rules’ (MKR), have partnered with Fraser Coast Opportunities (FCO) in an ambassador role for the Fraser Coast.

Since winning the 2013 competition, the couple have opened their own restaurant (EAT at Dan and Steph’s), espresso bar (School House Espresso) and published two books (EAT at Home and Meat & Sweet).

The highlight of the last few years however, is starting their family with the recent arrival of their daughter Emmy.

Steph said they are smitten; ‘She is the light of our life! We are really happy to be able to bring our daughter up in a great place where Dan and I also grew up.’

The partnership with FCO will see Dan and Steph feature in Fraser Coast promotions and events, including continuing their strong relationship with signature regional events such as Relish Food and Wine Festival.

Dan said he was excited to partner with FCO and showcase everything the Fraser Coast has to offer.

‘Steph and I love this place. We are honoured to be official ambassadors and partner with Fraser Coast Opportunities to show Australia and the world how great our region really is’, said Dan.

Manager of Tourism and Events for FCO, Tas Webber said the partnership will be a great benefit for the region.

‘Dan and Steph are great influencers around Australia since their success on MKR, and we’re thrilled to have them on board to continue building our destination image. With Dan and Steph, we aim to showcase the Fraser Coast’s amazing regional produce and grow the foodie scene across the region’, said Tas.

The partnership will see both Dan and Steph and FCO utilise the relationship on social media platforms, partner at local events and leverage off the Fraser Coast and EAT brands.
