The
Frangipani group of Cambodian hotels has launched a campaign to attract
Australian and worldwide tourists using its newly opened Frangipani
Living Arts hotel & Spa in Phnom Penh to showcase the latest style
of hospitality for travellers looking for a unique holiday experience.
Promotions are available offering 10 per cent discounts on hotel rack
rates and additional incentives for guests staying at more than one of
the unique Frangipani hotels during their stay in Cambodia.
The
Frangipani Living Arts Hotel & Spa hotel is the eighth property in
an expanding portfolio of hotels owned and operated by a Cambodian
architect and co-founders. The first hotel opened in 2007 and quickly
found a following among Australian and worldwide travellers. Today
there are five Frangipani hotels in Phnom Penh and three in Siem Reap. A
key feature of the hotels is the involvement of local community groups
who have manufactured much of the decor found in each property.
Corporate and social responsibility is a major platform in the hotel's
success.
Promotion prices provide great value to couples,
groups, family and discerning individual travellers. The hotels are
more 'unique' than boutique. They are purposely created around a
post-modern industrial design theme. Some of the properties only have
seven rooms; others like the Frangipani Living Arts hotel & Spa have
123 rooms. So there is a mixture of styles and locations to suit
individual tastes. Unusual for hotels in Phnom Penh, most of the
properties feature a swimming pool - much welcomed after a day shopping
and sightseeing in the bustling energetic city that features ancient
golden Wats, a Royal Palace, great shopping in world acclaimed markets,
and budget priced Khmer and European cuisine.
The
Frangipani Living Art Hotel & Spa in Phnom Penh is the place to stay
if shopping is high on your wish list. Located in central 123 Street,
it is an easy walk or Tut Tuk ride to the famous Russian Market, which
offers incredible prices for fashion, food and electrical goods. For a
more central location, the Frangipani Royal Palace Hotel & Spa
located near the Royal Palace and National Museum provides extensive
views of the Tonle Sap River, Mekong River and the Palace from the room
balconies and the rooftop pool and bar. The concept for the Frangipani
Royal Palace Hotel & Spa is the harmony between the traditional and
the modern, the East and the West. The hotel blends well in the scenery
of the surrounding area where it stands, and at the same time, provides
the traveler with an incredible level of comfort. The hotel interior and
exterior was designed by one of co-founders.
"The
Frangipani Living Arts hotel & Spa has been operational for one
month and occupancy rates are beyond our initial expectation," said
Group Sales and Marketing Director, Mr Kelly Chan Dara. "The take up
confirms our view that travelers want an individual unique hotel
experience rather than simply accepting the traditional hotel look and
feel. The group is in now in expansion mode. We are constantly looking
for opportunities to buy or build more properties using our successful
theme," he said.
