Newcastle's largest health and lifestyle expo is coming up in October! The health and lifestyle industry will present all it has to offer at the Activate Expo 2011. It is a chance for the public to seek, learn and discover everything they will need in order to lead a healthier lifestyle. The theme of the Expo is "Kickstart your new lifestyle".
The Activate Expo is organised into 7 categories making it easier for people to find the information they are looking for over the weekend. These 7 categories are - family, body, nutrition, home, leisure, goals and mind. They have been chosen to enable a more holistic approach to solving the need for improved overall health and lifestyle.
The Expo will be interactive, with over 120 stalls, over 50 free workshops and demonstrations, and 7 activity areas. There will be free wine tasting/appreciation, Farmers markets, Eco-Living area, Fashion shows, and Government Health initiatives
The Activate Expo 2011 will be great family value! There will be free product samples, free massages, free entertainment, free health checks, free parking, free fashion shows, and free Your Health Investment information.
The Activity Areas will include the main Stage, Activate Kids Corner, Workshop Area, 'In the Kitchen' Cooking Theatre, Soul Pamper Area, Outdoor Sustainable Living area & demo stage, Performance Stage, Appetiser Alley, Sunday Bazaar , The Chill Out Room, Info Hub, Resource Area, and the Weight Watchers' Moveable Feast.
The Activate Expo 2011 will be held on the 15 & 16 October 2011, from 10am-5pm each day at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Newcastle, NSW Australia. Newcastle is the second largest city in NSW.
Admission is $14 fr an Adult Daily Pass, $20 for an Adult Weekend Pass; $10 Concession Day Pass; $16 Concession Weekend Pass; $40 Family Weekend Pass (2 Adults and up to 3 children under 16yo); FREE for Children under the age of 12 There will be free VIP Showbags for online ticket holders or for those who register online.
