By providing practical knowledge and hands-on experience, the initiative aims to bridge the skills gap and strengthen Sri Lanka’s position as a world-class travel destination.
A Strong Public–Private Partnership Model
The Hotel Operations Multitasker Program is built upon a robust Public–Private Partnership (PPP) framework. It brings together the expertise of government institutions, private training providers, and industry leaders to maximize both the reach and quality of training.With 35 franchise institutes established across all districts of Sri Lanka, the program ensures equal access for youth in urban and rural areas. This wide network makes it one of the most inclusive hospitality training initiatives ever introduced in the country.

The Sathkaraye Shrama Sena initiative stands out for its practical and professional approach. Some of the most notable highlights include:- NVQ Level 3 Certification, a nationally recognized qualification for career growth

The Official Launch Ceremony
The official launch of the Sathkaraye Shrama Sena – Hotel Operations Multitasker Program took place on 3 September 2025 at the SLITHM Main Auditorium.The prestigious ceremony was be attended by:

- Hon. Dr. Upali Pannilage, Minister of Rural Development, Social Security & Community Empowerment
