AIME 2025 Breaks Records and Redefines the Business Events Landscape

AIME 2025
The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) 2025 has officially shattered all previous records, cementing its place as one of the region’s most impactful events for the global business events community. Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), AIME 2025 not only exceeded expectations in size but also in the breadth of its international reach, showcasing the vibrant energy of the Asia Pacific region’s business events industry.

With over 640 hosted buyers, 4500 attendees, and 675 exhibitors from across the globe, AIME 2025 has truly set a new standard. The event grew by an impressive 100 exhibitors compared to the previous year, with two exciting new international pavilions from Singapore and Thailand joining the exhibition. In total, 33 countries and territories were represented, illustrating the global significance of AIME and its role as a major business hub for the industry.

Among the many highlights, the Knowledge Program stood out as a key feature of AIME 2025. This year’s program saw a five-fold increase in participation, with more than 1500 attendees engaging in sessions designed to shape the future of the business events sector. Focused on the theme “We Matter!”, the Knowledge Program featured inspiring keynote speakers such as Gus Balbontin, former Chief Technology Officer of Lonely Planet, and Dr. Kristy Goodwin, a renowned neuro-performance scientist. Panel discussions on global insights and business outlooks brought together industry leaders, sparking conversations that will undoubtedly influence the industry in the years to come.

Beyond the business discussions, AIME 2025 also offered a unique cultural experience. The AIMalfi FESTA, held at il Mercato Centrale in Melbourne, transformed the venue into an Amalfi Coast-inspired artisan food market, offering more than 2000 attendees the chance to immerse themselves in Italy’s culinary delights. This interactive Welcome Event proved to be the perfect blend of business and pleasure, setting the tone for the rest of the week.

In addition to the main event, the International Association of Convention Centres hosted the AIPC @ AIME summit, while the Australian Business Events Association brought together industry leaders for the AIME Leaders Forum. For the first time, AIME also saw the global exhibitions association UFI co-locate its Asia-Pacific Conference, further solidifying the event’s reputation as a must-attend for professionals across the business events industry.

With over 19,000 meetings taking place during the event, AIME 2025 was a hub of activity where networking, business deals, and new partnerships flourished. The impressive turnout and success of the event showcase AIME's growing influence, solidifying its role as a premier destination for those involved in global business events.

Looking ahead, AIME 2026 is already on the horizon, scheduled to take place at MCEC from February 9-11. As AIME continues to grow, it’s clear that this is just the beginning for the event’s trajectory as a global leader in the business events community.
