State President visits Hung King's Temple in Can Tho

On the morning of January 19, during a business trip to the Mekong Delta provinces, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc came to offer incense at the Hung King Temple in Can Tho City.

The Temple of Hung Kings in Can Tho started construction in June 2019, and is currently completing the last items. The area of ​​​​Hung King's temple in Can Tho includes: The main temple is a round block placed on a square base block and all are placed in the background of a circular landscaped lake, bringing the features of the Mekong Delta region. The main temple cluster has a symbolic design for "round sky, square earth".

The main temple block is surrounded by 18 bows with sculptured patterns, symbolizing the 18 Hung Kings. The wings are built on 54 equal intervals of the circle, symbolizing the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. The main worship space with majestic and solemn design is the place to worship Quoc Ancestor Hung Vuong, Patriarch Lac Long Quan, Mother Au Co, Lac Hau, Lac General. In the main hall, there are two great parallel sentences: Van Lang brocade flowers, Hung Kings who have built the country - Cuu Long Land, Tay Do people are forever grateful.

The temple also has a square in the center of which is a stele house designed according to wooden architecture; There is a lake surrounding the main temple cluster with 54 pillars representing 54 ethnic groups working together to protect the Vietnamese Fatherland.
