6 Unique Things To Do In Marin - Cool Fun In Marin Year-Round

While Marin County is a picturesque destination any time of the year, the cooler temperatures can be especially appealing. There are fewer tourists around, so you’re likely to get better deals on flights and hotels. Here are six unique activities to keep you warmly entertained during Marin's cooler temperatures.

1. Take a Food and Farm Tour

2. Go on a Safari
You don't have to travel all the way to South Africa to get a taste of a safari experience. Marin County is home to the Point Reyes National Seashore, a park preserve that stretches more than 71,000 acres and boasts extensive plant and animal diversity. On any given day, you can spot several of the 85 mammals that live within the park. Calling all birdwatchers! More than half of North America's bird species have been spotted in these skies. Excursions are limited to three people, with options of a half-day or full-day safari.

3. Take a Hike
One of the perks of visiting Marin County in winter is that the weather never really gets too cold. In fact, if you’re from the East Coast, you'll find Marin remarkably warm in comparison.
