Introducing your 2021 Sydney Opera Summer Season!

Extraordinary love. Extraordinary bravery. Extraordinary music.

It’s finally time to dress up again. Head out to the Sydney Opera House and feel the buzz. Lean forward as the curtain rises…

We can’t wait to welcome you safely back to the theatre to enjoy a night out. We’ve got opera to make you laugh, weep and wonder.

For the first time ever, we're performing Bartók’s short, sharp thriller Bluebeard’s Castle. You can see a new production of Verdi’s rare opera Ernani from the grand stage of La Scala.

We’re bringing back the spectacular crowd favourite, Tosca. And because we could all use a bit of froth, you can enjoy the dazzling delight of The Merry Widow.

From today, Opera Australia 2019 and 2020 Season Subscribers can purchase tickets. Next week, Allerta recipients will be able to book, ahead of the general public. Keep an eye on your inbox for your exclusive pre-sale information.
