The annual Blackville Arts & Market Day is, without a doubt, a day to put on your calendar. Unique, interesting and delightful artisan made wares, delicious gourmet food and treats, all sourced both locally and from afar. From art to homewares, clothing, accessories, jewellery, there is something to keep you browsing for hours. There will be great lunch options to choose from, bar facilities and live entertainment throughout the afternoon.
For the kids there will be lots to entertain them, a jumping castle, face painting, sand art, lucky dips and lolly bags. The kid’s corner will also be serving pies and a sausage sandwich.
Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the market day is a great relaxing day out for the entire family.
This is a not for profit event. In 2019, the event will raise funds for Blackville Public School and Ronald McDonald House, Tamworth.
Funds raised from the 2018 event contributed to the employment of a second staff member at Blackville Public School, reducing class size and ensuring explicit quality teaching and learning for students. Funds were also distributed to Eloura, Quirindi Retirement Home (QRHL) to support their resident "happy hour" held every second Sunday of the month.
