Make 2020/21 Your Year to 'Find Time' and Ride the Rails

Australia's greatest train journeys are now on sale for travel in 2020/21 with guests encouraged to 'unwind' and 'find time' to disconnect with a few days' rail journey across the country.

The season opening for The Ghan, Indian Pacific and the Great Southern has early-bird package deals from $2309 and there are Advance Purchase savings on rail-only holidays of up to $800 per person.

Now is the best time to book with the greatest availability and best access to Platinum and Gold Service.

Each train has two Signature Packages that allow guests to explore further beyond the tracks and are available to book now with early bird discounts. Packages include the chance to explore Kakadu and Uluru in the Northern Territory, Rottnest Island and Margaret River in Western Australia, the Barossa in South Australia and Brisbane in Queensland.

Journey Beyond Rail Expeditions Managing Director, Steve Kernaghan, said the season's launch presented a great opportunity for those looking for an authentic and memorable Australian holiday.

“Our train journeys across the country and along Australia's coastline provide guests the luxury of time. Time to explore Australia's interior, time to connect with others and most importantly, time to unwind and escape the pressures of daily life,” Mr Kernaghan said.

Also new, The Ghan Expedition (the ultimate three night and four day journey from Darwin to Adelaide) can now be split in Alice Springs meaning guests can pause their journey for three, four or seven nights in Alice before reboarding the train and continuing south to Adelaide.
