Takeo Lantern Festival

A Lantern Festival is held every year at Hiryu-gama in Takeo-city, Saga, where the largest ascending kiln in the world is located.

6,000 lanterns and a heart-shaped tunnel of light is the highlight of the park’s winter illumination event.

Also, come and experience the stage events, cafe (sweets and hot coffee) inside the kiln, mini-lantern making and pizza-baking workshops.
