Chinese New Year – Year of the Pig

  • Eighth Annual Chinese New Year Celebration in Beverly Hills

On Saturday, January 26, Beverly Hills will host its eighth annual Chinese New Year celebration, featuring music, dance and acrobatic performance groups from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province.

Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau (BHCVB), in partnership with Beijing Association for Cultural Exchange (BACE), Tianjin Association for Cultural Exchange (TACE) and Hebei Association for Cultural Exchange (HACE), with the support of the Chinese Consulate of Los Angeles, will jointly host "Happy Chinese New Year, Charming Jing-Jin-Ji” in Beverly Hills on January 26, 2019. This is the eighth consecutive year of Beverly Hills hosting a Chinese New Year celebratory event.

The 2019 Chinese New Year event will be divided into three parts: a variety show, a "Jing-Jin-Ji" photo exhibition and a cultural heritage crafts display and demonstration. The variety show will feature performance groups from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei with Chinese acrobatics, martial arts, folk dance, Peking opera and more. The cultural heritage crafts display and demonstration will include Peking Opera costumes, ceremonial tea service, traditional folk music and more.
Tickets will go on sale from Ticketmaster on Friday, December 7 at 10 a.m. PST. Tickets are $10 each. Additional Ticketmaster fees apply.
