Outdoor Fun With Presidio Picnic

Grab your blanket and meet at the Presidio on Sundays for a family picnic like no other. Presidio Picnic features international food and drink from the best of the Bay Area food scene, lawn games, music, yoga classes, nature-based arts and crafts for kids and a photo booth at the Presidio Adventure Zone tent, plus iconic views of San Francisco Bay. Presidio Picnic is sponsored by the Presidio Trust and Off the Grid Markets.

Presidio Picnic's food vendor lineup often includes Belgian Frites, El Sur Empanadas, Fine & Rare, Hookt Mini Doughnuts, Lady Falcon, Nopalito, Sam's Chowder House, The Whole Beast and much more. Weekly vendor lineup is subject to change.

Presidio Picnic is also a great starting point for exploring other parts of the Presidio. Nearby is the new Presidio Visitor Center, where you can find tips for extending your day in the park and for future visits. You'll also find sweatshirts, picnic blankets, reusable water bottles and more for sale. Visitors can also enjoy 24 miles of trails with eight scenic overlooks; outdoor sculptures, including Wood Line by Andy Goldsworthy; the The Walt Disney Family Museum; the Presidio Officer's Club museum and cultural center; and restaurants, including The Commissary and Arguello.

Presidio Picnic is held Sundays, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. through Oct. 8, 2017 and is easily accessible via the free PresidiGo Shuttle or San Francisco's Muni system. Bicyclists can take advantage of a free bike valet service.
